Carl Waterman is a professional Life/Recovery Coach from Roachdale, Indiana. He also serves as Executive Director for New Life Connections, a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on providing programming and ongoing support for people who suffer from substance use disorders. He has been active in the recovery community since 2006. Carl holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology with a specialization in addictions from Kaplan University and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Trinity Theological Seminary where he is pursuing his PhD. in Christian Counseling. He is certified as a Professional Recovery Coach through the NET Institute: Center for Addiction & Recovery Education, and through the International Association of Professional Recovery Coaches. Carl is certified as a professional Life Coach through the Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching. He holds a Medication Assisted Treatment Specialist (MATS) certification through the Indiana Counselor’s Association on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (ICAADA). He has developed substance abuse programming for community corrections and juvenile detention facilities. Carl serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Mental Health America of Putnam County and as a member of Putnam County Systems of Care.
Carlos Cano is a Certified Addictions Professional and Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor. Mr. Cano has been involved in the field of drug addiction and recovery since 1990 and began his career after completing his studies at the University of Arkansas. He continues to explore and manage his clinical studies and assessment of the disease model of addiction and the correlation with neurological mechanisms. Mr. Cano has been a substance abuse counselor, therapist, and addictions professional for many years. He has served as Lead Therapist, Program Director, and Clinical Director at behavioral health substance abuse facilities in Arkansas and Florida. Carlos has been mentored and educated by some of the most highly regarded experts in the fields of Addiction Medicine and Psychology. He is dedicated to creating evidenced-based treatment programs that deliver the best possible outcomes and address all presenting issues.
Angela has worked in behavioral health since 2004. She began her career as a therapist assistant on an adolescent psychiatric unit that provided both inpatient and residential treatment. She received her BA in Psychology from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2005 and her MSW at Indiana University, Indianapolis, in 2009. For her MSW program, Angela completed an internship in the assessment/intake office at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital – Anderson Center in 2008. She also completed an internship on the adult psychiatric units at Community Hospital North in 2009. After graduating from her MSW program, Angela worked at the Anderson Center in various positions with several treatment populations. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Besides working at Bridges of Hope, Angela works as an assessment counselor at the Anderson Center. She lives in the Anderson area with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and watching Colts football.
Karl Lazar graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies and a double minor in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Mr. Lazar became a Licensed Health and Life Insurance Agent in 2009 and owned and operated an insurance agency before stepping into the behavioral health industry. In 2011, Mr. Lazar started working in the substance use treatment field. He started out as a Behavioral Health Technician and moved his way up learning the ins and outs of the business and industry. Mr. Lazar helped open and license three substance abuse treatment centers in Florida before moving to Indiana and spearheading the Bridges of Hope, LLC Project.
Adrian Rosly is currently enrolled at Anderson University, working towards a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Alongside the Director of Operations and Founder, he is learning the aspects of the business and bringing vision to the company. Mr. Rosly has found a new home in both his employment and school. He looks forward to helping the clients and their families, guiding them as they embark upon the journey of recovery.
Mr. Paul Kozel serves as the Company’s founder, President and majority shareholder of Chesterfield Management Inc, Net Wireless Towers Inc, KO Capital One LLC, JL Capital One LLC, Net Wireless LLC, Bridges of Hope LLC and Riveredge Professional Center LLC. In the past, as the company’s chief executive of KO Communications Inc, Mr. Kozel has set forth the company’s vision for growth and expansion, as a regional wireless carrier in N.E. Texas developing the first cellular system known as cellular one and evolving into the Verizon Network. Mr. Kozel has extensive experience in the communications industry and the wireless sector specifically.
Over the past decade, Mr. Kozel had held ownership in variety of cellular properties, including the Texas 7 RSA, Texas 15 RSA, Arkansas 11 RSA and various MSA’s throughout the country. In addition, Mr. Kozel’s diversified communication holdings include spectrum assets in 220-222 MHZ yet to be developed throughout the country. In addition to interests in the communications industry, Mr. Kozel has pursued successful private ventures in commercial real estate, franchise restaurants, oil and gas development and infrared manufacturing among other areas.
A native of Ambridge, PA, Mr. Kozel earned his B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Bacteriology and chemistry. Also, he is a Squadron Officer graduate from the Air University of Alabama and Avionics studies at Lowry AFB, Colorado. Mr. Kozel later studied nuclear engineering and business at Kansas State University and Maryland University.
Mr. Kozel retired from the USAF as a Major. During those years he taught the first graduating class at the US Air Force Academy. Subsequently Major Kozel performed supervisory duties in the Avionics maintenance field with GAM-77 Missiles and B-58 aircraft at various Strategic Air Command bases throughout the country. His final duties were in Security Service in Berlin, Germany, Aviano Italy, Taiwan and various countries throughout the Far East.
